Walt Disney Animation Studios is inviting audiences into a spellbinding new world with Disney’s Hexed, an original animated coming-of-age adventure that promises family secrets, powerful magic and a journey into the unknown. A new trailer and poster for the film have been released ahead of its exclusive theatrical debut on November 25, 2026.
Leading the voice cast is Hailee Steinfeld as Billie Doe, an impulsive and unconventional teenager whose discovery of secret magical abilities turns her life upside down. What begins in suburbia soon becomes an extraordinary journey into Hexe, a vast and spectacular realm of witches, where Billie’s newfound powers could have consequences far beyond her own world.
Billie’s journey also forces her to confront some complicated family dynamics. Rashida Jones voices her cautious mother, Alice, who joins her daughter as they uncover long-buried family mysteries with the potential to change the world of witches forever.
The film’s ensemble cast brings plenty of star power to the magical adventure. Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a reclusive three-eyed magical cat who forms an uneasy alliance with Billie and Alice, while two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster voices Queen Celeste, a sinister ruler determined to preserve her power over Hexe indefinitely.
Newly announced cast members Henry Winkler and Dan Stevens add two intriguing characters to the mix. Winkler voices Nigel, a skittish but all-knowing potoo bird who holds powerful secrets about the magical world, while Stevens plays Hieronymous, Queen Celeste’s blustering and self-important Grand Councilor of the Throne.
The wider voice cast includes Tracey Ullman, Stephen Fry, Brett Gelman, Samson Kayo, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Drew McIntyre, Cheri Oteri, Kathy Najimy, Wayne Knight, Alan Tudyk, Randall Park, Bill Farmer, Pat McAfee, Chris Parnell, Sarah-Nicole Robles, Rachel Dratch, Ariana Madix, Kellie Gerardi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Abraham Benrubi and Josh Dallas.
Behind the scenes, Hexed is directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, with Josie Trinidad serving as co-director. Roy Conli and Yvett Merino produce the film, which is written by Walt Disney Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller.
With its mix of magical world-building, family revelations and a young heroine discovering who she really is, Disney’s Hexed looks set to bring a fresh coming-of-age story to the studio’s animation slate. Audiences can step into Hexe when the film opens exclusively in cinemas on November 25, 2026.
