As Jacaranda FM celebrates an incredible 40 years of entertaining, informing and connecting South Africans, the station is taking the celebration directly to the people who made it possible, its listeners.
To mark the milestone anniversary, Jacaranda FM has officially launched its Feel Good Tour, a nationwide listener experience designed to bring the station’s beloved personalities closer to communities across the country through live broadcasts, listener engagements, surprise moments and plenty of feel-good energy.
Late last week, the Jacaranda FM team rolled into Polokwane aboard the vibrant Feel Good Tour bus, where listeners were treated to an unforgettable visit from some of the station’s most loved voices and personalities, including Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, Rob Forbes, Rozanne McKenzie, Danny Painter, Barney Simon, Sascha Van Gelder and Manani Botes.
The visit formed part of Jacaranda FM’s broader mission to celebrate four decades of shared memories, music, laughter and connection with listeners across South Africa.
Listeners in Polokwane had the opportunity to meet their favourite presenters, experience live radio energy up close and be part of the station’s ongoing birthday celebrations, with the Feel Good Tour bringing the unmistakable Jacaranda FM spirit directly into the heart of the city.
Over the past four decades, Jacaranda FM has grown into one of South Africa’s most recognisable and loved radio brands, known not only for its music and entertainment offering, but also for meaningful initiatives such as Good Morning Angelsand its strong connection to communities across the country.
The Feel Good Tour continues throughout Jacaranda FM’s 40th birthday year, with more stops, listener experiences and special moments planned as the station celebrates the people, places and stories that have shaped its journey since 1986.
For listeners in Polokwane, the tour brought the voices they hear every day directly into their community, turning an ordinary day into a celebration of music, memories and shared connection.
