After a two-year hiatus, local electronic DJ TiMO ODV is back with a fresh club anthem titled ‘The Sauce’. The track is the star’s first bit of new music since the pandemic started and sees the star expressing his lifestyle and fashionability over a fresh dance beat.
The track features the star’s signature drums, driving bass and pitched vocals that helped him become a dance sensation around the country. Now, after shifting gears a bit, the star is ready to take over the local dance space once again.
TiMO explains that when South Africa went into a strict lockdown in 2020, he decided to spend this time by focusing on writing and producing new music without any pressure. “I am busy trying to grow in all areas of my life, especially music.
He adds “When I first erupted onto the scene, I was pretty much swept up into a whirlwind, and it took some time for me to start enjoying producing music as much as I did back in 2014.”
Now, after giving himself time to fall back in love with the production side of things, he’s ready to bring out new music to the world – and ‘The Sauce’ is a solid reminder of why he became such a prominent name in the space to begin with.
