Whenever Jax Jones drops new music, you know it’s going to be big. Today, the DJ premieres his massive new anthem ‘Where Did You Go?’ featuring MNEK – and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
As two of the industry’s most well-regarded artists, writers and producers, MNEK and Jax Jones are long-time friends, having collaborated on 2016 hit House Work. This year is set to be a busy one for Jax Jones, with many more exciting announcements, live shows, and music releases coming soon.
The new single is infused with nostalgic vibes and summer-ready basslines making it the perfect dancefloor anthem. Referencing the noughties era of party music, ‘Where Did You Go?’ reflects the shared mood of the world in 2022, with people desperate to feel joyous again and be able to celebrate with unity and togetherness.
Jax Jones tells us “This song is something a little different from me, I love experimenting with my sound. Hope you like it!”
‘Where Did You Go?’ comes after the huge success of Jax Jones’ hit ‘Out Out’ released in August last year with Joel Corry, Charli XCX and Saweetie, which spent 11 weeks in the UK Top 10 and has had over 250 million streams to date.
