Local electronic producer and DJ Black Coffee has been making waves globally with his eclectic and proudly South African approach to dance music for years now, and his career officially comes full circle as he scores his first Grammy nomination as the Recording Academy unveils the 2022 nominees.
The DJ is nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his critically-acclaimed album ‘Subconsciously’. He will go up against Illenium, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Sylvan Esso and Ten City for the prestigious award.
The ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on 31 January where the winners will officially be announced.
I have no words.
