Adele’s highly-anticipated fifth studio album is around the corner and the new era kicks off in style this week with ‘Easy On Me’, the lead single from the star’s upcoming album ‘30’, premiering this Friday.
However, during an Instagram live over the weekend, the songstress gave fans a little sneak peek of the song.
“I know there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim — when I am drowning in the silence, baby, let me in,” Adele is heard singing over a dramatic piano.
While the star didn’t give too much away, she did confirm that her new album is all about divorce. The star divorced Simon Konecki back in 2015. The former couple are parents to nine-year old Angelo.
“[Angelo] had so many simple questions for me that I can’t answer, because I don’t know the answer…Like, Why can’t we still live together? That’s just not what people do when they get divorced. But why not?” she said to British Vogue.
