There’s a very good reason why pop star Brenden Peyper is one of the biggest acts in Afrikaans music today. Not only are his songs incredibly well-written, the melodies set the stage for a perfect sing-a-long, the messaging in each song is relatable and his production remains top-class. So, it’s not surprising that the star’s new single ‘Die Wolf’ is another banger from the singer.
On the new track, Brendan sings about the inner battles within ourselves that many of us fight daily. The star uses the tale of the two wolves – one good and one evil – who are trying to lead you down their path. The question is, which wolf will you feed?
On the song, Brendan sings that while song paths may seem like the easier route, they may not be for your benefit and choosing a path that pushes you to be your best self is worth the battle.
Laced with his signature rock sound, Brendan continues to prove why his career has skyrocketed over the past five years – and it seems like he has no intention of slowing down.
