Translated into English, the songstress says ‘Yes, you have cheated and hurt me’ but quickly takes back control by apologising to her former lover for letting the matter have such a massive impact on her life before apologising that she has dragged the issue out rather than cutting all ties with the man.
Ami Faku’s vocal sounds better than ever as she injects heartfelt emotion into her verses while the Scorpion Kings continue to remind Mzansi why they’re the hottest producers in the country right now. With a variety of different sounds and elements, the song’s production takes listeners on a sonic journey and effortlessly helps elevate both the lyrical content and emotion of the song.
