Faith K and Thabsie pushed their creative boundaries when they premiered their hot collaboration ‘Moyeni’ and now, the duo have dropped the official music video for the track.
The video is a beautiful blend of a 80’s nostalgia and modern visual techniques which depicts Faith and Thabsie squad deep. The visuals, directed by Nigel Stockl, highlight Faith and Thabsie living in full colour and partying the night -away in the streets of Soweto.
‘Moyeni’ directly translated means air and, through the music video, Faith K tells the story of how she is on her own level and feels like she is walking on air. The song features songstress Thabsie, hottest R&B vocalist in Mzansi today. She is responsible for bangers like ‘African Queen’ and ‘Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe’ and gives her own flair to the song.
“This song is a celebration of girls and I’m so excited about this music video! The track is about feeling good, being cocky and enjoying a night out with your friends celebrating your goals and achievements,” Faith K says of the track.
