Local producer and DJ Mvzzle is back with that new-new just in time for summer. The star has teamed up with Botswana-based vocalist, Han -C, for new single ‘Kea Rata’ – a song that is set to get toes tapping around the country.
The song serves as the second single off Mvzzle’s upcoming studio album scheduled for release next year and the next after ‘Uvalo’ featuring the talented Ndu Shezi. The release also comes fresh off the recent news that ‘Umlilo’, his collaboration with DJ Zinhle, has reached triple platinum status.
The song, written and performed by Han-C, tells the story of an unconditional love and sees Mvzzle deliver on what he does best – creating epic beats. “I think this song, really captures my signature vibe. The single captures the beginning of what will become a sound synonymous with MVZZLE,” the producer says. “Once again, it was DJ Zinhle who pointed me in the direction of Han-C. She shared a post from his Instagram and after hearing him sing, I reached out to him and ‘Kea Rata’ was born. The collaboration between Ndu Shezi and I on my first single and now with Han– C, sets the tone of what people can expect from me in the future. I enjoy working with vocalists who are still on the rise.”
