Local pop singer OLI Milne returns with his third single titled ‘Making Me’ this week. The song is a mid-tempo alt-pop creation with hints of R&B flavour that was produced in New York City by artist-producer Kevin Andreas who has worked with the likes of A$AP Rocky.
The song continues to showcase OLI’s versatility. It’s an easy-listening tune with a distinct beat honey-coated in the singer’s soothing vocals. The song shows off his multi-dimensional abilities and sets the perfect scene for the upcoming release of his debut album ‘Vivid Blur’.
“‘Making Me’ has a repetitive nature and road trip vibe alongside meaningful lyrics,” OLI tells us adding that the song essentially articulates the frustration that a couple can go through when the relationship is toxic but the love is too strong to walk away. The star promises that there will also be a breathtaking music video releasing soon which he filmed in the forests of Natal.
OLI’s previous singles ‘I’ll Be Okay’ and ’This Girl’ have received great public attention and have charted on various national, regional, campus & community stations around the country. Now the 22-year-old showcases yet another side to his unique sound and taps into his own life experience, with a prolific ability that is beyond his years.
