Bobby Van Jaarsveld, Demi Lee Moore And Pulane Sekepe To Host Die Kontrak’s Second Season

After an incredibly popular debut season, the popular local reality show ‘Die Kontrak’ is moving to eTV and is shaking up the presenter line-up as the second season prepares for its debut later this year.

“We want everyone to be able to follow The Contract and be part of all the action during this reality show competition,” said Barry Pretorius, one of the experts of this program and award-winning director of Afrikaans is Groot. “After careful consideration, we as Coleske Artists have realized that eTV will be the perfect medium to broadcast the new season of The Contract.”

Like the show’s debut season, there will be four mentors who select their own participants from the hopeful entries. The mentors will each elimiate their contestants throughout the show and then only two participants will form part of the Top 8 group. Each of the Top 8 finalists then kicks off their journey with a contact from Coleske Artists, but every episode, one contestant’s contract is torn by the big boss, Arnold Coleske.

This time, the talent line-up has changed. While Barry Pretorius, Corlea and Theuns Jordaan return as the seasoned experts on the show and a brand-new set of mentors will be announced in due course.

Karlien Van Jaarsveld, who has just given birth to her fourth child, won’t be returning as a presenter this season but brother Bobby Van Jaarsveld will continue holding the reins. This season, he will also welcome two brand-new co-presenters who will stand by his side during the exciting second season.

Last year’s winner Demi Lee Moore went on to achieve an incredible amount of success with her debut album ‘Mis Eet Slaap Herhaal’ reaching gold status within just ten days of release. Now, she returns to the place where it all began as a new presenter – proving the show truly does make dreams come true. “‘Die Kontrak’ has opened so many doors for me and it is all thanks to the faith that Arnold Coleske and his incredible team had in me. Every artist with a big dream, who is willing to work hard, has to enter for this competition,” Demi Lee tells us.

The third and final new presenter will be Pulane Sekepe who shot to fame as the presenter of the TV series ‘NAweek’. She was also a popular radio presenter on Jacaranda FM and continues to appear in a number of television and theatre productions.
