The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards nominees have officially been announced. As expected, Beyoncé and Adele lead this year’s nomination with a surprising shun on Taylor Swift. Beyoncé recieved a massive 11 nominations (more than she has ever recieved before) and Adele has an incredible 8 nominations.
The 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards” will take place at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday 28 August, premiering across Africa on Monday 29 August at 21:00 CAT on MTV and MTV Base. Here is the full list of nominees:
