Back in 2012, local dance duo Pascal & Pearce dominated airwaves around the country with their YOAV-assisted single ‘Beautiful Lie’. Now, the trio return for a new single as they premiere ‘Belong’ – a song yearning for beautiful moments in summers past.
The track is the first release off Pascal & Pearce’s brand-new label Luna Rising Music and, in true Pascal & Pearce style, is a catchy earworm that is bound to get toes tapping.
The song strikes a chord in the way that the message is all about connecting to some magical summer moments that have happened in the past and longing for that feeling once again.
YOAV’s smooth vocals add a tranquil element to the song. Aside from an epic vocal performance, the star also plays guitar on the song effortlessly blending both acts’ sound together for one banger.
Naturally, Pascal & Pearce were thrilled to reunite with YOAV on the track. “Working with Yoav on Belong has been another great collaborating experience,” the duo says in a statement. “Even right from the start, we had a good feeling as he was immediately drawn to that instrumental when we did a listening session. These moments are great for producers when collaborating, as there’s already an organic feeling for a song. Within a couple of weeks we had vocals, and it again showcased Yoav’s exceptional lyric and songwriting capabilities. He also added some great guitar to the song too, which really brought the whole project to life.”
