Local pop crooner Josh Wantie is ready to make some major moves. After moving to the UK to expand his music career, Josh Wantie is bringing the heat as he joins forces with international singing sensation Conor Maynard on a new track titled ‘Never Let Me Go’.
Josh has always strived to make music with a purpose. We’ve seen this through his latest SAMA-nominated EP ‘Lifeline’ and again on ‘Never Let Me Go’. “The song follows an upbeat plea of two people to stay together after some ups and downs,” Josh says of the track’s lyrical content.
Josh had been sitting on the track for a while but finally played the track to Conor, who he had struck a great friendship with since moving to the UK, and Conor instantly wanted to jump on the track.
“Me and Josh have been close friends for a long time now, so the fact we finally get to work together on a track is so exciting and truly an honour,” Conor tells us. “Josh is such a talented musician and when he played me the track to ask me what I thought, I instantly knew I had to be a part of it. I hope everyone enjoys it!”
