Missed Australian pop rockers 5 Seconds of Summer? The group hasn’t released an album since 2015’s ‘Sounds Good Feels Good’ and they’re ready to make their comeback. The group took to their Instagram account to tease ‘Want You Back’ – the lead single off their upcoming third studio album.
We’ve learned to expect the unexpected when it comes to 5 Seconds Of Summer so it will be interesting to see just how different the single is to their previous material. While everything around the single is still a mystery, the lads have given us teasers of the lyrics on their twitter page. “No matter where I go, I’m always gonna want you back // No matter how long you’re gone, I’m always gonna want you back,” the band tweeted.
Guitarist Calum Hood revealed that the group will be making it’s comeback in an interview with Billboard last year. “Our fans were pretty pissed off that we didn’t give them an update about releasing an album this year because towards the start of the year, we were pretty positive we’d have an album out by the end of [2017],” he said. “With timing, it just didn’t end up working, but we’re definitely gonna have the album out next year.”
