Big Concerts announced today that one of the world’s biggest popstars, Katy Perry, will be bringing her Witness World Tour to South Africa this July in what promises to be the ultimate showstopper. This will be the first time the star will perform in South Africa which makes it an even more exciting announcement. Perry will perform two shows in Johannesburg on the 18th and 20th of July.
WITNESS: The Tour is an imaginative trip from outer-space to inner-space, from the planets to the bottom of our oceans, and a musical journey through Katy Perry’s biggest milestones and mega-hits right up to her latest album. The dramatically original staging means that there isn’t a bad seat in the house, when Katy brings out her band and dancers, along with all the bells and whistles.
Perry’s ‘Witness’ album has spawned the hits ‘Chained To The Rhythm’, ‘Swish Swish’ and Bon Appetit’ and the star will be performing an array of new and old hits in an incredible visual experience. The tour has already received rave reviews from media around the world and the star is excited to finally perform for her South African fans.
