American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has kept a rather low profile recently. Earlier this year, she announced that she inked a deal with Atlantic Records and was working on her upcoming studio album ‘The Meaning Of Life’. Now, the singer has released not one but two brand new tracks – ‘Love So Soft’, the lead single off the project and another instant grat track ‘Move You’.
‘Love So Soft’ is exactly the track we’ve been expecting from Kelly. The song has subtle 60s influence with an epic array of horns and percussions. However, it’s her impressive vocal ability that sets the star apart. Coming from a reality TV background, it’s no surprise that Kelly has some pipes on her but the growth over the years has been impressive to watch. Kelly reveals that fans can expect a variety of uptempo bangers and soulful ballads on the album which she admits is the one she’s “always wanted to make”.
“It’s my favourite thing I’ve ever done,” Kelly admits. “It’s the first time I got to pick my label, because I just got out of my Idol contract. I’ve been dying to make this record since Idol. “We have a good batch of songs [and] I can’t wait to sing them live. They’re amazing. After having a career for so long, it’s so weird that nobody knows [my sound] yet, so it’s going to be so good. It’s definitely a different chapter.”
The Meaning Of Life drops everywhere on October 27 but if you pre-order now, you’ll get both new tracks instantly.
