She’s been teasing us on social media for a few days now and finally, Taylor Swift has announced that her sixth studio album, ‘Reputation’ drops everywhere on the 10th of November. The star has hinted that she is headed in a darker direction after posting three videos of a snake on her social media platforms. The videos sparked rumours of a comeback and, three years after dropping ‘Shake It Off’ off her ‘1989’ album, the star is ready to release some new music.
What’s even more exciting is that we won’t have to wait long for new music as the star plans to drop the lead single off the project, a song rumoured to be titled ‘Timeless’, tomorrow. ‘Reputation’ is expected to become one of the biggest selling albums of 2017 – a title in which Taylor will battle BFF Ed Sheeran for. Ed’s ‘Divide’ has gone multi-platinum around the world but Taylor is known for smashing records with her singles. In fact, ‘1989’ was the fastest album to sell 5 million copies since Usher’s ‘Confessions’ in 2004.
The new Taylor Swift era is finally here and I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table this time around. The one thing we know for sure is that it’s going to be epic!
