The end of the year is set to be filled with international acts gracing our shores. Recently, Texas, Live and Bastille announced they would be visiting South Africa while Rocking The Daisis and Oppikoppi are still expected to announce their international line-up. Today, however, Big Concerts announced that Bryan Adams will be returning to the country for his ‘Get Up’ tour this December.
This time, the star will be playing all of his massive hits in four South African cities. The tour starts in Johannesburg on the 9th December at the Ticketpro Dome before moving to the Sun Arena, Time Square, Pretoria on the 10th of December, the Durban ICC on the 12th of December and the Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town on the 14th of December.
Bryan Adams sets out on a global tour following the release of his thirteenth studio album Get Up!. “We had a ball making this record,” Bryan Adams says of his latest record. Reunited with his original songwriting collaborator, Jim Vallance and newly connected to producer Jeff Lynne. Vallance was Bryan’s co-writer on some of the most important songs of his career: Cuts Like a Knife;” “Somebody”; “Summer of 69”; “Heaven” and “Run To You”.
I watched the star live on his recent trip to South Africa and I was blown away. Not only is Bryan a fantastic performer, but his music had a major effect on my life. I grew up on his music and I’ so excited to watch him live in South Africa again this December.
