When pop sensation Charli XCX drops new music, it’s almost guaranteed to be a bop. She has continuously proven to understand the genre and pushes her creative boundaries with every release – which is really exciting to see. After dropping the hits ‘Good Ones’, ‘New Shapes’ and ‘Beg For You’ over the past few months, the singer has finally released her fifth studio album ‘Crash’.
Filled with creative samples, catchy lyrics and epic vocals, ‘Crash’ features 12 brand-new tracks which effortlessly show off Charli’s growth and artistic abilities.
The star admits that the album was influenced by the music of Janet Jackson and the 80s and 90s influence on the record is certainly reminiscent of Jackson’s older material. Charli sounds great on the record and it’s refreshing seeing her grow into her role as a pop star in 2022.
