Disney+ To Make It’s South African Debut This Winter

It’s one of the most exciting streaming platforms in the world and South Africans have been waiting for their chance to binge all of the exciting content on Disney+ – and their chance is finally here.

South African fans will finally get the chance to watch highly-anticipated Disney originals like Star Wars: The Mandalorian, WandaVision, Loki and content from National Geographic, Marvel Studios, Pixar and Disney.

In a recent statement by the brand, Disney confirmed their streaming platform will have a winter 2022 launch across Europe, Africa and West Asia in 42 countries and 11 new territories – including South Africa.

“With exclusive original content and thousands of episodes and movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and general entertainment from Star, Disney+ is the streaming home for some of the world’s most beloved stories,” Disney said in a press release.

Here are the countries that Disney+ will launch this year:
