It’s been a massive month for Justin Serrao. The singer has released three new singles in the space of three weeks – and fans are loving it!
Justin released his first single since 2019 earlier this month as he dropped ‘‘Brand New Day’. The track was subsequently followed up by ‘She Aint There Yet’ and now, he continues the trend by premiering ‘Living It Up Cowboy’
Serrao looks back at the release for ‘She Aint There’ – with the music video shot by Henry Marsh Photography and Emile Van Rooyen – and explains the message behind this beautiful ballad, saying “’When I’m alone with you, I’m in love with you. She Aint There Yet.’ The breaking point of one lover and the other blinded by the perfect picture needed that will secure a calm happier life.”
‘Brand New Day’, however, highlights the difficulty the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic had on the star. “’Brand New Day’ highlights the funny things we did in hard Lockdown,” Justin explains. “To then seeing the light of day and seeing love, life, and forgiveness now that things are opening up again. Doesn’t matter if you weren’t yourself during lockdown, it was hard on everybody. You are forgiven. Come home.”
On ’Living It Up Cowboy’, Justin injects his love for country music into his material. “’Living It Up Cowboy’ tells the story of the traveling musician,” Justin says. “Playing the field. Living the fast life to forget the hole in his heart and in this keeping himself lonely for the one he loves but can’t have. To go fast, you need to go alone.”
