He’s making major waves around the world and as his ‘Boyfriend’ EP continues to climb up streaming charts, CKay has dropped an animated video for the project’s latest single ‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Me’.
The video sees CKay take on the role of a hero who will literally go to the depths of the sea for love. Animated by Jexway, the love story is a subtle reminded as to why CKay is dubbed everybody’s boyfriend.
The popular single features elements of amapiano while still maintaining the Afropop sound the star has become famous for. “‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Me’ feels like the warm embrace of a lover. It’s how I felt when an internet relationship became physical,” the star says about the inspiration behind the track.
