LISTEN: Taylor Swift’s Rerecorded Replica Of ‘Fearless’ Is Out Now

In 2019, Taylor Swift announced that she would record and release new versions of that music as a way of regaining control after Big Machine was sold to an umbrella company owned by Scooter Braun, an industry figure with whom Swift has had many public differences.

In February, Taylor confirmed that the replica of her hit record ‘Fearless’ would be the first one to be released and teased fans with the new version of ‘Love Story’. Now, the full album is finally here.

The rerecorded tracks have been dubbed ‘Taylor’s Version’ and the album features 6 unreleased tracks from the vault “You All Over Me” featuring her Reputation tour partner Maren Morris, “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” “We Were Happy,” “That’s When,” featuring Keith Urban, “Don’t You,” and “Bye Bye Baby,” along with an Elvira remix of “Love Story.”

‘Fearless’ famously scored Taylor six Grammy nominations and won Album of the Year at the 2009 Grammy Awards. Taylor says she plans to rerecord her first five albums and it is still unclear if she will rerecord 2017’s ‘Reputation’ which also fall part of the catalogue purchased by Scooter.
