Local dance sensation Black Coffee is back with a brand-new banger. After teaming up with American crooner Usher on ‘LaLaLa’ late last year, the producer is back with some new music – and this time, he’s joined forces with American rising star Sabrina Claudio on a track titled ‘Sbcnscsly’.
The single opens with a warm organ that is complimented by the vulnerability of Sabrina’s tone and songwriting and the chorus’ chant-like vocals, coupled with the soft melodies and various rhythmic sounds gives a trance like feel to the song that is almost spiritual and soothing. The song details a young woman who yearns for love but is apprehensive of letting her heart go and is another powerful piece of music from the international producer.
Black Coffee has remained true to his South African roots as his profile grows around the world as he works with some of the biggest names in music today like David Guetta, Alicia Keys, Usher and Drake. ‘Sbcnscsly’ is another effortless example of Black Coffee weaving in his South African sound into world-class dance music – and we have a feeling it’s going to be another banger for the star.
