They did it again! After the success of their first workout album, the hottest new business in fitness S.W.E.A.T. 1000 have officially launched their Ultimate Workout Hits Vol. 2. To celebrate, they invited some of the top media and celebrities out to their Morningside branch to take a listen to the album while getting a taste of what their services offer – and damn, was it a wake-up to my system!
The album is filled with banging workout tracks that are between 125bpm – 129bmp to keep your heart rate steady. Another awesome thing about the album is that although the songs are covers of some of our favourite hits at the moment, there are over 50 tracks each no longer than two minutes ensuring that the trainee doesn’t get bored of a song while working out.
I’ve always known S.W.E.A.T. 1000 had a good name but I didn’t realize how fantastic they are until trying the class that day. This is a workout and a half. The workout is designed to take a person out of their comfort zone and push them as they’ve never been pushed before. The cool thing as well is that everyone can train at their own pace but gives one the option of pushing themselves harder should they wish to.
Celebrities such as Lee-Roy Wright, Roxy Burger, Nicole Da Silva, Jonathan Boynton-Lee, Stacey Holland, Mika Stefano, Nathan Ro and Carly Fields attended the hectic workout and while some (Carly and Jonathan) showed us how it’s done, a select few (me included) had a mini panic attack.
The event was something different and a fantastic way to launch the album. Thank goodness for those Biogen products after the class, because otherwise I would have had to crawl all the way to my car.
Remember, if you buy the album in store you will get a free S.W.E.A.T. 1000 voucher so you can try out this intense workout for yourself. Your body will be in pain for a few days after your first class, but it will leave you craving your next workout – and you get awesome music to train to! Score!
