A well-balanced romance told unlike ever before.

Remarks: Lauren started this book off in the most beautiful way. Many people these days model their relationships on that of their parents and, naturally, the goal is to stay together for a long time. Every person has someone they want to model their relationship goals on and Lotto and Mathilde were that couple for a lot of people. The book was written in a way where I could feel exactly what the characters were going through and although sometimes this process seemed to drag out a little bit, it really allowed me to connect to the characters. I found that a lot of concentration was needed for this book, though. There a lot of flashbacks and the way Lauren portrayed this became quite confusing for me at times. That being said, this was a very pleasant read.
