I didn’t want this book to end…
Plot: Four young women’s lives intersect in the apartment they’ve shared in Hell’s Kitchen: Claire, a shoe designer; Abby, an aspiring novelist; Morgan, a successful financial consultant; and Sasha, a resident in obstetrics. As different as they are from one another, the women had become a family by choice. But while their lives had proceeded smoothly in the years they’d lived together, new relationships, job opportunities, and surprising circumstances will test the strength of their bond in and outside the loft that had become their home.
Remarks: Danielle Steel has been writing for years but she has mastered the craft of creating stories that will touch your soul – and that’s exactly what she did with her new book ‘The Apartment’. The story started off well, ended off well and kept me entertained throughout the entire read. Danielle wrote the story in a way that kept my attention. It was never too boring or too verbose and detailed. I liked that each of the four main characters brought something completely different to the table but still come together. It’s friendships like these that last and that are incredibly strong. I knew that this was one of the better novels Danielle wrote when I found myself unable to put the book down but more so, wanting the story to continue once I finished reading the last page.
