British producer has been all over the press for all the wrong reasons lately – especially because of his twar with pop sensation One Direction, but the producer has put all of that in the past and has decided to blow our minds and remind us why he is one of the greats at the moment. Therefore, he dropped his brand new single ‘Runnin’ (Lose It All) which features hauntingly beautiful vocals from Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin.
The song is bound to give you goosebumps from the first note Beyonce belts out. It’s great to hear this side of her again after her more hip-hop focused self-titled album. We love how the track is a conversation between Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin and the exchange towards the end is really powerful. Naturally, Beyonce slays with her vocal ability. The production also effortlessly changes from a simple piano in the beginning to an energetic up-tempo beat while still allowing emotion to follow through with the vocals being the star of the track.
The song is paired with one of the best music videos we have ever seen. It features a man and a woman running towards each other underwater. The video is shot beautifully and the fact that everything was shot underwater completely blows our minds. We’ll definitely be having this one on repeat for the next few weeks!
