The magnificent voice is back! American singer Lana Del Rey released her latest album ‘Ultraviolence’ only last year, but the singer has wasted no time in getting back into the studio and we finally have some new music from the star! Lana has officially dropped her first single off her upcoming fourth album and she has made her fans all around the world incredibly happy.
The track, titled ‘High By The Beach’, still has Lana’s signature sound, however, the track is heavily synthed – something we’re not too used to from the singer. The song sees her seeking a sort of sweet escape by the beach. We love her sound but we’re not too sure the track is strong enough to become a big hit for the star.
On recording the song, Lana admits that “It started with the chorus. I was driving by the beach a lot. This was probably one of the last ones on the record…Even with the harmonies, it almost sounded monotone. But with the beat, it has this trap influence.” The track is off her upcoming album ‘Honeymoon’ which is scheduled to release later this year.
