Admit it. Just like the rest of the world, you’re counting down the days until the end of March when The Roast of Justin Bieber will finally be on our screens. As we lead up to the main event, Comedy Central has already announced that Kevin Hart will serve as roastmaster but now, we have the first promo clip – and it’s a shirtless Justin Bieber getting egged.
Playing off Justin’s legal issues stemming from a January 2014 in which he allegedly egged his neighbor’s home, Comedy Central describes the 30-second clip as the 20-year-old learning “how poor, defenseless homes feel.” Kevin Hart admits that he won’t be going easy on the pop star. “I’m going to smash Bieber,” promised the comedian. “It’s going to be a tough day for Biebs. The good news is that he knows I love him. The good news is that he knows I’m a real friend, so it’s no-holds-barred. I get to let loose. It’s going to be dope.”
Kevin also mentioned that Justin called him up after it was announced that he would play host and he could hear the anxiety in his voice. “He’s 100 percent nervous,” jokes the comedian. “It’s not even a half-question. He’s like, ‘Hey so Kev, you’re going to take it easy, right?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely not.’” Check out the clip below.
