German multi-instrumentalist and composer AVAION has ensured toes around the country kept tapping this holiday season thanks to his banger ‘Pieces’. The track has proven to be a hit with South African listeners so, unsurprisingly, the track has officially achieved platinum status in the country becoming the first region around the world to do so.
The producer celebrated the milestone after receiving an official plaque from the Sony Music Entertainment – Africa team and was clearly overwhelmed by the success of the track. Sharing the news on his social media pages, AVAION says “Dreams coming true 💙 Platinum for Pieces 🇿🇦”.
“It’s the best feeling when people understand the emotions in a song and then give positive feedback! I never thought it would make such big waves, but I’m super grateful and happy,” AVAION says on the success of the track.
